This High Rotational Speed Stator Assembly for Yamaha JOG 90 replaces the stock coil pack with a high-rpm-ready stator and includes a matching alternator fan. Heat-resistant windings and a tight lamination stack help maintain charging output and a clean pickup signal at elevated RPM, while the fan pushes fresh air through the shroud to temper cylinder/head temps in stop-and-go riding.

Installation Notes

  • Remove the flywheel/rotor with the correct puller to access the stator; route the harness clear of moving parts.

  • Set pickup (trigger) coil air gap to spec (if equipped) and verify timing mark alignment.

  • Install the fan with the correct rotation/orientation; check shroud/cover clearance.

  • Torque fasteners to spec; start the engine and confirm charging voltage and spark stability at idle/mid-RPM.

  • After a short heat cycle, recheck fastener torque and the grommet seal for leaks or chafing.
